Ocean of Clouds

I started this painting in an attempt to use up a larger 18X24 canvas that had been sitting around for the past few years. I simply selected a picture I had taken while on a flight and started painting it. I took my time with it because I expected it to stay on the wall for a while, and I didn’t want it bothering my eyes. But it sold fast, and now I’m going to have to start thinking about what I put on the other two canvases I have…
